Emily Martinez is a local Texan. She played sports all year round up until high school when she played basketball and was a cheerleader. She graduated Cum Laude from Southwestern Assemblies of God University with a Bachelors in Psychology. Emily then went on to obtain her Doctor of Physical Therapy from South College, graduating in 2017.
Emily has been an orthopedic outpatient therapist since she graduated. She has seen patients from several months of age to patients in their 90’s. Her treatment experience includes: post operative joint replacements, post operative recovery, sports injuries, gait instability, low back pain, neck pain, chronic pain, general strength and conditioning, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s Disease, and the list goes on.
Emily is married, has two dogs, and a cat. She loves animals and eventually wants to be a canine PT as well. Emily and her husband are heavily involved in church together. She enjoys traveling, reading, playing with her dogs, spending time with family and friends, and working on projects.
